Heritage Days (May 2–10)
Heritage Days is a week-long community celebration highlighting the history and character of Wahkiakum County. Local businesses, organizations, and historic sites are invited to participate by sharing photos and stories showing what their places looked like in the past.
Events throughout the week include the reopening of the Wahkiakum County Historical Society Museum for the season (May 2–3, noon–4 pm), Cinco de Mayo celebrations at Maria’s Restaurant (May 5), the Cathlamet Woman’s Club annual pie sale at Tsuga Gallery (May 8), and an auction hosted by the Friends of Julia Butler Hansen at the Hotel Cathlamet lobby (May 9). The week concludes on Mother’s Day, May 10.
Heritage Days encourages residents and visitors alike to explore Cathlamet, learn about its past, and celebrate the people and places that continue to shape the community.
